Growing up in a household with splatters of paint and scatters of pens, my fascination for colors can be traced back to the influences of
my dad’s profession – graphic design.

Contrary to my dad’s, however, my rather liberal and experimental aesthetic sense was primarily formed within the grounds of UP Diliman - my second home, and where I graduated as cum laude with a degree in BA Film and Audio-Visual Communication. Four years spent in brainstorming for short film concepts over a cup of coffee or a bottle of beer; or immersing in various communities to open my eyes and my mind to different social issues are among what I consider most enjoyable and at the same time most valuable learning experiences.

After college, I had tried to play in the fashion and advertising photography industry, as project coordinator and photographer’s apprentice at Edge of Light Studios, for almost a year, before choosing to take a pseudo-shift to the corporate world where I was multimedia specialist for SGV & Co. for three and a half years. This is enough time for me to prepare for my long-term plans and go back to doing the things that truly give me fulfillment – telling and sharing stories that inspire.

I went full-time into photography in 2009; did mostly weddings and classic and creative portraits. After setting up the studio in 2010, I have been doing some products and food shoots as well. I also enjoy lomo walks during my free time.

I joined modelmayhem to expand my photography network. I wanna meet more people who share with me the same passion for photography.
