Hey there my name is Nakita Jones, I'm 21 years of age and I live in Montreal, Quebec. I joined Model Mayhem in order to meet and work with different people in the modeling and fashion industry. As well gain more experience in modeling! I've been intrested in the fashion industry as far back as i remember, ever since I was a toddler, I loved my picture being taken and loved dressing up. As I grew into my mid-teens I got more fascinated with the industry and its designers, models and everything that came with it. My mother gave me that extra push, that I needed in order to pursue my dream, and through the bad and good auditions she was by my side. I won a competiton on Facebook for "Miss Facebook 2007" and had a photoshoot, I also enterd a pageant " Miss Canada" in 2008 unfortunately I didn't win but I gained a lot of experience from that. I'm also a promotional model, I've promoted for "Acrofoot Magazine" for Mcgill University, and participated in the Urban Jam festival. I also am in Karl Wolf's lates video "F*ck shit up" that was shot here in Montreal. What I'm looking to gain from Model Mayhem is to meet new and creative people from this industry (photographers. make-up artists etc..) also get an opportunity to work with them side by side, build my portfolio ,gain more knowledge and experience in modeling.
