I am a fine art painter, currently working on developing a new series of figurative work for an upcoming solo exhibition. I received my BA from Knox College in Illinois, and my MFA from UC Davis. I live in Vallejo, CA and teach in nearby Napa as adjunct faculty at Napa Valley College.

As can be seen in my website, my art covers many different subjects and media. But my interest in the figure is considerable, and I have repeatedly taught courses at Napa Valley College focusing on figure-drawing and painting.

My current series of work focuses on the nude male figure. The first three images in my Model Mayhem folder are part of this current series (they are still in-progress and not yet complete). As mentioned above, this entire new body of work will be shown in a solo exhibition to take place in mid-June of next year.

The wide diversity of models participating in Model Mayhem impresses me. I am hopeful one of them will find my art to be of interest, and will consider collaborating with me to further develop the work both for my upcoming exhibit, and for future projects.
