hello everyone, I've been a photographer for 4 years now, the only photos i am taking these days are of comic book heroes or other cosplay stuff. it may sound odd, but its for a great cause, what i plan on doing is taking photos of certain subjects dressed a certain way, then go with that subject in full costume to local childrens hospitals where that subject will sign a print with his/her CHARACTER'S name, not their own, saying something positive to that specific child. i know that this is a task that many wont be able to handle, so if you cant do the hospital visit that is perfectly fine, you can just sign the characters name on some prints we took of you, and i will hand them out myself, these kids dont have much to smile about, they are sick, alone except for the doctors, their parents visit as often as they can, luckily most of these hospitals are charity ran meaning the parents dont pay a cent, which means these doctors are pulling extra time because they arent getting paid there which means they work 2 times as hard as regular paid doctors. i want to give these kids something awesome, something no one else can give them, the doctors are doing their best to take care of them, the parents do their best to support, random events make them smile for a short while, but meeting your favorite hero, getting a free photo of that hero, having it signed by that person, specificly to you, and then given a hug by that person, will have very long lasting effects, and its been proven that when you are happy, you have hope, and when you have hope sometimes..the mind can do more than any medication can. so please. help me kick off this project, Project Joyous Child. i will add....doesnt have to be a hero, could also be a fairytale princess, or prince as the case may be, a disney character...what ever the kids love the most, i obviously wont be charging any kind of payment, and i cant pay, but you will receive credit for the photoshoot like any other. this isnt about fame, or glory or wealth, its about giving a little bit of ones self to another, so if you find it in your heart that this is something youd like to do, please send me a message or a tag or what ever. thank you
