I am new to this site as my daughter "Skin Betty" has encourage me to join and share my photos, I am also very new to the camera as I have finally lost my fear of being photographed.
My true goal is to encourage women my own age to find their own true hidden beauty as I have found mine these past few months. Coming of Age and turning 50 has been the most fabulous time of my life!
I am not the average girl next door but I wish to inspire radical acceptance, I do not let other people opinions direct my life or society to stereotype me. Behind these photos is a woman, a mother and a grandmother and I have found that turning 50 this past September has allowed me to finally see myself for who I truly am and I would like to share my unique beauty with others.
I am also the "Face" of childhood sexual and violent abuse and a lifetime of domestic violence, I am not a survivor....I live life to the fullest and if I can help one person overcome their obstacles then my life has not been lived without reason.
My ink has taken 33 years to complete and was just finished this spring with well over 100 hours of work...it tells my personal story and reflects my inner uniqueness and my own true beauty.
