About Me

Born in Caracas (Venezuela), and raised between the USA and Venezuela, I currently live in Iowa City.

I received a Master's degree in Spanish literature from The University of Iowa and currently i am working on my PhD in Spanish Lit. My research area is Latin American visual cultures, with a focus on the fashion industry. Due to my academic interest, I ended up working in fashion photography since 2005.

On this profile most of the photos were shot with little preparation and by myself or taken by friends while I was teaching them basic photography notions.

I am willing to work on TFP conditions for the right project, but I am also looking for gigs that will be paid.
