In my case, photography started few years ago in Venezuela with my dad’s Canon AE-1. Whenever I had the chance to use it, I felt I had the opportunity to capture images that up to that point were only registered in my memories and as we all know those mental files are not that easy to access. Every time the pictures were revealed and the actual photo was ready, I felt a mix of great satisfaction and happiness to see my memories printed in paper where I could easily keep them.

After several years and for no reason, I abandoned that passion for photography. In 2006 approximately, I felt that desire for learning and exploring photography again and that’s when I got myself a digital camera, you can think of it as the new AE series generation. I started to explore photography at a deeper level, capturing pictures from every event I wanted to remember, trying all the different options with every click, experimenting with different lenses, all in all, doing what I like the most which is capturing those moments that only happen once and being in right place at the right time to make it happen.
