WHO I AM:
My name is Claire Kelley, but you an call me CK for short. At 5'5 I may hold the frame of a Petite Model, but my personality is so big it has no bounds. To put my Moravian College English Major writing skills, I'll even describe it in alliteration: a fun, friendly and flexible fashion-lover. In fact, I love fashion so much that I have even branched out as a fashion designer for my company Carpe Noctem Designs, and have begun a venture into amateur fashion photography :)

WHAT I DO:
With six years experience as a professional, model, actress, and spokeswoman behind me, I am currently writing a book on a system of the fine mechanics of posing I created and developed. I am ALWAYS looking to collaborate with other industry professionals to push it to its highest potential, but more about that later.

WORK WITH AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHERS AND/OR MAKEUP ARTISTS:
I'd like to make a note and apology that I rarely to never work with amateur photographers and/or makeup artists. I have tried to keep an open mind, but time and time again my critical eye renders all the photos we take unusable. I really am sorry if that makes me sound like a snob, even though the notion of me being one is laughable if you get to know me. I have many credible references who will testify that I'm anything but! Nonetheless, I try to keep an open mind and never entirely say never; thus I do make rare exceptions for amateurs who hold strong vision and an offer me something novel and fresh. I guess what I'm saying is, if you offer me work don't expect me to give you an automatic yes, but if you've got a decent proposition to offer me don't be afraid to either.

WORK WITH SEMI PROFESSIONAL TO PROFESSIONALS:
Now we're talking kindred spirits! I ask those who are interested in working with me to please submit ten portfolio images if not already posted on the site. I am more than happy to provide additional images of myself as well, and can even scan you a tear sheet or two. My rates are $50-$75/hour for editorial, fashion, acting, swimwear, hair and makeup, and parts work, $100 for body paint, lingerie, and $125-$150 for tasteful nudes. (I DO NOT DO ADULT WORK, and if I feel you are pressuring me to go that route with you I WILL sever our ties.) My rates for spokesmodeling depend on the assignment.

Generally speaking, I generally shoot for pay only, but am more than happy to make an exception for those willing to mentor me in fashion photography, an area I am very enthusiastic and eager to learn about. The same applies to anyone who is interested in collaborating with me on my book; I offer to shoot without pay in exchange for an interview from which I can write material.
