I am 37 years old

***I am looking for people who like my work, what it's about and want to become a part of it. I'm not looking for any particular "type" of model/person, I am looking for anyone who is interested.***

My work demonstrates direct modification of an image. In a world that is saturated daily by images of nearly every possible subject matter created by everyday people and shared via the internet, my work combines the traditional 'ideas' of painting and drawing with what is considered the predominant form of photography today.

My work is fundamentally about the average person, no celebrities, no costumes, no acts, no photoshop, just the average person being who they are. 

My process is a little different than what you would expect from other artists or photographers on this site. We would not meet in person (unless you lived very close by) i used to take screenshots over FaceTime/Skype pre COVID but because of COVID it seems someone came up with an app I recently discovered called Shutter that works way better than taking screen shots. Quality of shots is way better too.

I do realize it’s unorthodox but it's a way to use technology to create a different type of artwork and to connect with people from all over the country/world.


I am interested in the evolution of portraiture and art in general in the social media age. I find it intriguing that an artist can essentially reach out to anyone, anywhere and then be able to share what is created with the subject as well as with everyone else. it's about the person I am doing the painting of...granted I'm using a modeling website but that’s only because I'm looking for people who are willing to model, I am not using you as a model to show off a new sweater for a catalog.

I am also trying to do some nudes as well, so if you are interested:

-As compensation for doing a nude I would do multiple paintings/drawings and you would get to choose one or two that I would mail out to you as compensation. These are ORIGINAL pieces of artwork, not copies, just know that I would need multiple photos for source material.

-You do NOT have to show your face on nudes or even clothed if you don't want to you, your face can either be obscured by your hair, you can turn away from the camera, etc
they must be nude though and NOT implied

-Doesn't matter to me if you do clothed or nude or both, it is whatever YOU want to do.

***please note I will no longer be doing nudes of people living outside the United States, it is just too expensive to mail out prints...Obviously I can still do a nude if you really want one but I can NOT mail out prints to you.
