About Me

Here is my short story of how I became a professional photographer. Started shooting in high school with a Pentax K1000. Throughout college learned how to shoot with medium and large format cameras. I also learned how to print 16x24 prints and even color. After graduating college, I was a freelance assistant for 20+ commercial phtographers in Indianapolis. Some of the jobs I did were, posing as a paparazzi at the opening of the Conrad hotel, hanging out with Jeanette Lee (Black Widow), meeting Jimmy Vasser, Juan Montoya, Tony Stewart and Chip Ganassi. The one year that I was a freelance assistant was probably my most memorable, because the amazing photographers that I worked with. I only freelanced for one year because I couldn't financially keep going. I found myself back in the construction business. I let photography go for around 3 years and woke up one day and said, I can't give up! Since 5 years ago when I bought my first dslr, I haven't stopped trying to achieve my dream.
