Joshua Sears got an early start in the photography field, when he was only sixteen he worked for the Des Moines public school systems’ Public Relations Group. He attended a vocational high school specializing in photography. It was only natural to continue his college education studying cinema and photography.
After completing his Bachelors of Art degree, Josh migrated to Chicago. He started working freelance and has been involved advertising, editorial and event work for the past fourteen years.
Josh’s love for nature, has taken him trekking to the heights of the Himalayan mountains to diving in the depths of the ocean. His voyages have made him increasingly more consience of how important this planet is and what we need to do to conserve it.
Some of Josh’s more recent projects have been collaborating with Chicago’s CORE Foundation helping people AIDS. Providing coverage of
Children's Memorial Hospital’s groundbreaking and fundraising events.
Volunteering photographic services for Chicago’s Pancreatic Cancer Walk.
Looking to the future, Josh would like to expand his knowledge of the world through experience and adventure.
