Here is a little information about myself and how I approach this artistic process:

I am not just a Professional Makeup Artist, my approach to makeup and fashion is through the mind set and eyes of an artist. Each client is provided with an indepth consultation ensuring that services provided to them are tailored specifically for their needs and desires.  

I am available for weddings, commercial and editorial photoshoots, consultations on projects, runway shows, and private makeup and wardrobe consultations for yourself or a group of your closest friends. As of now I am very selective with my TF/test shoots. If you have an amazing concept that you would like to work with me on I am willing to only charge a basic kit fee. I received my Makeup Artist Certification from the Academy of Freelance Makeup (AOFM) in New York City. While attending the program I was able to learn from a vast array of artists in the business. I am now a part of the AOFM Pro team.

I have worked as a Beauty Advisor and Makeup Artist for Lancôme at Macy's, Pentagon City. I was a freelance artist for Lora Kelley Makeup Artists, while also booking jobs for my freelance businees as well.

I am now a freelance makeup artist and specialist for Christian Dior in addition to running her own freelance businesses, Carolyn Thombs Makeup Artstry & Consulting and Fine Art & Photography by Carolyn Thombs. 

I use only high quality makeup in my kit and am very flexible in meeting the needs of the client.

As a side note, Makeup Artistry is my career and I strive to be the best I can and am looking to expand my knowledge and skill set constantly; therefore I would appreciate being treated as a professional, in other words please do not waste my time as I am sure you would not appreciate your time being wasted either.
