It started as an innocent flirtation between the camera and me. It simply intrigued me-- to see the world through the lens, to snap a shot, to capture a moment and share my vision of that moment with others. It turned out to be more than a momentary fling; it eventually sparked a passion. That passion captured me and grew within me the more I kept snapping away, working with film, digital, Photoshop… as a published photographer now, with seven years of experience, there is no escaping that the art of photography is one of the true loves of my life.

I’ll admit I’m not particular; I enjoy just about all forms of the art. Photography is not just the act of creation—it’s recreation. The recreation of a single event in time, filtered through my own vision so that I can share not just what I saw, but what I thought of it— what I felt from it— in a single picture. As such, any number of things can inspire me. I must confess to a bit of favoritism, though: it is the human subject for which I am most enthusiastic. Whether it’s traditional portraiture or candid photos, I seek to capture honest expressions and experiences. I love to document not just the person or setting, but the mood and the emotion.
