About Me

started shooting just a few months ago (as of jan 2012), purely as a hobby and creative outlet. a fan of visual art, so thought i'd dabble in it for myself and see how i like it. so far, i really like.

joined mm to connect with like-minded peeps to potentially cook up and work on some fun projects with. would like to delve more into street and fashion photography. actually, really interested in doing food/product photography as well.

photography related things i like: helen levitt's work, nikon cameras and lenses, digitalrevTV, that LIFE magazine cover of the little middle eastern girl giving that mad stare, cinematography from crouching tiger hidden dragon

photography related things i dislike: engagement photos with people in it holding balloons for no apparent reason, heavy use of photoshop (i like seeing some/little blemishes in pics of peeps, 'cause i like to think i like to keep it real)
