Grew up between San Francisco, CA and Hong Kong -- now based in New York.
I have also spent a significant amount of time in Taiwan and Tokyo.
I am a frequent traveler that has a base in each of these cities, so I have a large
amount of experience with different cultures to draw upon.

I have been shooting stills for 4 years and learned the old way by shooting film and developing in the dark room. I have primarily worked in a more documentary style in the past, but I'm looking to get more experience using live models in a more controlled setting.
I find a lot of the commercial film and photography world right now very "safe" and stale -- with people not willing take personal or stylistic risks in their projects. So I'm looking to meet more like-minded people.

I believe art is primarily about expression, and not anything commercial -- but expression should have something rigorous about it too.

I attended NYU Tisch for Film Production and am now primarily working in independent films -- writing and directing my own productions and acting as cinematographer on others.
Currently, I'm working on one short film (Distant Light) and one feature film (The Margins of Love) with the Long Take Collective -- a film production company founded by myself and a partner.
