About Me

I am a professional artist and arts educator, currently based out of northeastern Ohio. I do mostly fine art portraits, figure painting, drawing and illustration. I am currently pursuing a dark-fantasy look in my work. (also goth-glam and femme-fatale, vintage style, dark beauty, etc.) I hope to use Model Mayhem to find like-minded art models to work with now and in the future, and to connect with other artists as well. All of my paintings are done from photographs, which means I hire models for photo shoots only- no live posing or modeling for long sessions. I have a lot of experience shooting for reference, and have my own props, light and camera equipment. A shoot will usually take 3 hours on average and consist of only a few poses as I take a lot of time to set up lighting and props, get costume just right etc.
