In January of 2012, I arrived in New York City from New Zealand. I was immediately captivated. I began snapping away, inspired by the energy, architecture and people of this amazing city. It was around this time that i had what one would call "a lightbulb moment", when i realized that this was exactly where i needed to be and exactly what i was supposed to be doing. I have always loved taking photos. I have always enjoyed retouching. Now I am elated to say that I, Monique Laloli am making a fine career out of it!
