I've recently experienced a rather unanticipated yet pleasant entry into the modeling world via my friends who work at a BDSM fantasy house in the East Bay. These bad bitches encouraged me to create a Model Mayhem profile to encourage creating multiple income streams.

A self-proclaimed photo and video "expert" once suggested my personal appearance exists in a liminal state between the extreme poles of "adorable girl-next-door" and "edgy-looking bad girl," and that I had to choose either one or the other in order to succeed in the modeling world. Instead of falling prey to this false dichotomy, I hope this aesthetic flexibility will prove a blessing and a strength in this industry, not a curse. Here's hoping that sleazoid was dead wrong!
