Fimîka is a single, 18 piece design collaboration based in Austin, Texas. The project began in August 2011 with a mission to design a special limited edition collection featuring good, high quality designs using environmentally friendly materials and practices. We strive to put art and integrity into our project. This Fall/Winter 2012 collection is inspired by Abstract Expressionism, and features garments made from all natural fibers like bamboo, hemp, and silk, and made under the highest fair labor standards in the USA. We stress transparency and global responsibility in our operation as well as with our partners and suppliers. Fimîka products ship with minimal packaging and we strongly encourage our retailers and consumers to reuse and recycle.

Reasons for Being on MM:
To credit members of the creative community for all of their hard work and provide an easy way for them to link up with us. To establish relationships that facilitate execution of a vision - allowing art to be created and recreated. Finally, to help build credible portfolios, so they can be used in a professional setting.
