Chicabelle Make-Up Artistry is owned by me, Frances Roberts DipHE, BABTAC Member & Multi National Award winning Make-Up Artist.

I have been involved in the make up industry since studying at Bretton Hall, Leeds University in 2001 where I actually gained my degree in Acting. However, having professionally worked on both sides of the camera, and for a love and passion of the industry, I decided to set out on my own. I am fully accredited and I am also the proud owner of VOWS Make-Up artist of the year 2011, VOWS Make-up artist of the year 2013 and VOWS nomanee 2012 (top 5 out of over 500)

I have many years of experience in the industry - form both camera angles, and am often described by those who know me as eccentric, creative and a perfectionist… of which can be a pain when you're your own toughest critic, but I’m sure many of us arty types are guilty of this!

I am happy to cover most genres and have experience with, and regular clients for bridal / occasion / fashion / editorial / glamour / boudoir / Avant-garde / Models Books and lessons.

I am an open book when it comes to ideas and opinions and shoot enquiries and am always keen to discuss new ideas and take onboard other's points of view... the train doesn't stop here by all means... Hence why I'm here and sharing info with like minded people in the industry - if you don't keep up you will get left behind!
