About Me

There's a pond near my home that was created when some persons of generations past dammed a small stream. At one end there are the decaying ruins of a swimming area that has been closed for many years. Stories I've been told by locals speak of a child, swimming at night and drowning as the reason for the closure. Others have mentioned run-off from the streets, golf-course and nearby neighborhoods as being the cause. What ever the reason it has both the look and the narrative of a place where the present seeps through, dissolving the past.

It's to this place that I come to soak my images in the effluents of real and imagined suburban lives and try to record a journal and create an analogy.

My sadness and anger at my own mortality, inadequacies and aging is honest, as is my jealousy and joy at the youthful attractiveness, ambition and commitment shown by those who have worked with me. I'm always looking for unique individuals to collaborate with on projects. If it's a direction that appeals to you feel free to contact me. We may be able to create some memories and see if anything valuable or interesting is produced as they disintegrate.

I am sincerely grateful for this opportunity, thank you.
