I am an amateur photographer with fairly modest equipment, but am working to develop the skills to get the most professional shots possible using whatever tools I have. (My current camera is Canon Powershot SX50HS.) I've mostly done outdoor and nature photography, and whatever random projects come to mind, one example being closeup shots of soap bubbles. For me photography is just a hobby and I like having fun with it. I do specifically want to improve my skills with photographing people. Some of the photos in my profile are of models who volunteered at local photography club. Also, I shot them using the lighting equipment other members brought there, although I also have some basic studio lights of my own.

I'd like to use this profile to network with friends who can help me get more experience and to solicit constructive feedback on my work. I'd also love to do shoots to help local musicians get shots for posters or album covers in exchange for CD's of their music.
