Hello! I am starting a new journey in my life. I've decided that I shouldn't feel guilty for the way I look - I want to share my message with girls. I'm biracial (black and white) I have a large curly fro that moves in the wind and causes young kids to do double takes - like what is that on her head! I am learning to love my curves, and my thick athletic build. I want to forge ahead and try this modeling "thing" because I owe it to all of the young women I've taught over the years.

I am a teacher by trade and have worked serving young people for years...okay, only about 5, but I've learned that it's okay to focus on yourself a bit. I think I can still serve young people by teaching them to follow their dreams - which is modeling for me- and also to teach them to truly having faith in the path they choose to take. It's funny, this week it kind of hit me that "it's not your (job) position - but your PASSION. When you follow your dreams, miracles happen. I really belive that...I look forward to miracles.

I have only had one opportunity to do a professional shoot, (I guess I have not tried to model...because of fear what's new?:) but not anymore! So what I did do was an online Pantene Pro V commercial. It was a blast! It was a segment in Essence where they were highlighting natural hair. I fell in love with the process and my "story"...now I'm interested in doing MORE more more. :)
