My name is M. Scott Ault, The Ocean Cyclist- I’m going around the world in a pedal powered boat and I need your help!

Basically,
Awhile ago, I blew a wad on two racing kayaks from a small Canadian Kayak manufacturer located near Montreal, PQ. Boats that were going to be transmogrified in to.. a pedal powered catamaran styled boat. In order to pay for them, I worked as a commercial painter at remote locations.. sometimes as far away as 1400Km from my family and home and for durations of 6 to 10 weeks. It was difficult, to say the least. Then, once paid for.. I was surprised to learn that shipment was hugely unaffordable. So, long term storage was arranged.

Now, I’m planning on getting the boats shipped here and find that my recent contacts to the shop have gone.. unanswered. Add to this, the fact that their website is.. down.. so, I gotta do something!

So- I need your help!
WetPedals is a fund raising idea for Ocean Cyclist.. it’s going to be a seasonal print on demand magazine.. ish. I’ll be using the Blurb print on demand infrastructure and releasing a seasonal book (perfect bound, about 120 pages long; full colour; economy printed) that will cover Environmental concerns, cycling issues, and a diary of sorts for Ocean Cyclist.. as well as Photo Sets that will highlight creative individuals and their works- models, photographers (and both, most likely).

Publication is volunteer- everything about the publication will be Volunteer. But, every job comes with an Honorarium and honorarium is defined (loosely) as: A thank you payment for volunteer of professional services rendered. Ocean Cyclist (and Wet Pedals) is a Not For Profit project.. so, the goal is to make enough to do it but nothing more is expected.
