Originally from Lodi, CA, Nicole Holst has performed as a professional dancer, choreographer and singer/songwriter. She graduated from CSU, Long Beach with a BA in Dance in 2005 and has danced in works by Martha Graham, Paul Taylor and Anna Sokolow. Nicole has since performed in everything from folk dance companies to cabarets and has shown work in venues throughout NYC. Recently Nicole premiered her first full-length production at Galapagos Artspace called “Brooklyn Follies”. She currently teaches dance and Pilates at the Prospect Park YMCA in Brooklyn and has been a guest teaching artist for the New Orleans Ballet Association at Tulane University. When not teaching Nicole performs regularly with her country/rock band, Central Valley Wildfire, and is a frequent guest singer with other bands in NYC and Boston.
