James has been shooting professionally since 2004. His love of the image flows from childhood memories of attending movies with his grandmother. Upon graduating from college with degrees in Film Production and Entertainment Business he returned home where he worked as a cinematographer, editor and producer on several feature films as well as countless music videos, short films and commercials. He has won several awards including Emmy's, Telly's and Pixie's. James has also shot on a multitude of video and still cameras including the Arri Alexia, RED and a multitude of DSLR's. All of his skills blend to create a photography style that's unique, one that makes not only happy clients, but loyal co-creators. He currently works out of his studio in the Detroit area.
