I am an illustrator and photo retoucher. My chief aim is to use my image making passion and expertise to promote health for body, mind and soul, and to tell powerful stories that have a deep impact on the viewer. Illustration allows me to approach image making purely from imagination. Photo retouching is another form of illustration, enhancing the drama and power of an existing image.

Aside from the fact that our studio hires models occasionally and this looks like a good place to find them, I'm interested in Model Mayhem because I think it's a place for image makers to promote and share their talents. People come here looking for a way to evoke emotions and ideas through images. This is exactly what I help people with.

I create illustrations and information design for entertainment, marketing, industrial communication, education, health, and journalism.  My work is largely influenced by the rich storytelling medium of comics and graphic novels. Story is a powerful information delivery system because it impresses data with emotional engagement which stimulates imagination, comprehension and retention of information.

The styles I work in include bold brush and ink drawings, digital painting, and vector art.

Education: Honours BA in Fine art from the University of Guelph in 1995 and years of self study and practice.
