Rose Athena completed her BFA from Concordia University in Montreal with an emphasis on photography in 2012. She has worked at a portrait studio called Artona in Vancouver, and assisted at Frogtown studio in LA. She is also open to modeling work. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Athena has also lived in Rome, Los Angeles, Vancouver, San Francisco, and Montreal. In addition to frequent self-directed shoots, she has curated exhibitions for photographers she networks with in Calgary, Vancouver, New York and San Francisco. Athena's work has been published in Vice, Juxtapoz, ION, Living Proof, Updown, Snap, and Beatroute, among various others. Currently residing in Calgary, Rose Athena is available for hire and collaboration.
