I decided that instead of the traditional biography, I would go with something a little more personal. I found a passion for photography at a young age, and through encouragement and support from family and friends, photography became my career. After graduating high school, I went on to the Rhode Island School of Photography. In Rhode Island, I was taught by some of the greatest photographers in the world. They taught me to create images correctly in camera (on film!) instead of many of today’s photographers who “fix it in Photoshop”. I graduated in 1991 from the Rhode Island School of Photography with a degree in Advanced Photography.

For over a decade I have been working in the photographic industry. I have held positions as a custom black and white printer, custom color printer, print and negative retouching artist, graphic artist, and professional wedding photographer. I am a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), and Professional Photographers of Greater New York (PPGNY).

It is through these experiences and professional organizations that I continue to learn and grow as a photographer and business owner. I love what I do and have a great passion for photography and learning new things in my field every day.

I consider my style photojournalistic and contemporary. I prefer a natural look to my photography as you will see from the images on the website. I do not overly photoshop my images as I like to create what I want in the camera. I of course use the computer to “tweak” some of the images here and there. I am shooting 100% Digital, and I regularly attend lectures and courses to keep up on the latest developments and techniques in my field.
