About Me

I love painting people's faces. I really want to paint more people's faces. That's where you come in. I am experienced in Glamour, Weddings, Proms, Natural No Makeup Look, Wounds and SFX, Horror, Zombies, Vampires, Pam Anderson, and period makeup, mainly 20's, 40's, 80's and everything in between.

I love sculpting hair. I can do anything you want me to do with hair. You tell me what you want, and I will find a way to make it happen. I went to both The International Institute of Hair Design in Salt Lake City, Utah and Grays Harbor Beauty College in Aberdeen, WA. I also attended John Casablanca's Modeling School, and learned runway and fashion makeup from them.

For makeup I generally use Ben Nye products because they are the easiest to get in the great North West! I like the Revlon Photo Ready foundation, because it's lighter in texture than MAC or Makeup Forever, it covers better, smells better, blends better and looks great in HD photo's and video, and it's cheaper too! I'm in process of saving up for a professional airbrush foundation kit. I make most of my own blood because its the only way I can get it in different consistencies, and everyone knows fresh blood doesn't look the same as blood that's been there for a week. I have to explain the horrible blood job in the Stabbed Lover photo: We were in a hurry, I didn't make that blood, and we didn't have time for it to coagulate, so it soaked into the rug. I leave the mouth blood to Ben Nye, its minty! I like to contour and highlight to change the face of my subject. I make my own latex wounds and bullet holes.

I'm always learning. If I don't know how to do something, I research and practice till I get it right. On that note, bruises are difficult on dark skinned people! This was my first attempt at it and I didn't have any deep turquoise or sea green grease paint. I'm still working on getting them right.

I can also do braided hair extensions and cornrows.
