Born in Brooklyn, New York, of Trinidadian descent Aida Ayisha Rennie b/k/a “Jade Renee” has always dreamed about becoming an entertainer. As a precocious child, Ms. Renee’s inspiration stemmed from watching her mother perform at various engagements, subsequently discovering her own hidden talents consisting of singing, acting, dancing and modeling. Inspired by prolific artists such as Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Michael Jackson, Pattie LaBelle, Whitney Houston, Smokey Robinson, Debbie Allen and Sade, motivated Mz. Renee to solidify a career in the Entertainment industry. 


As an adolescent, Renee attended Brooklyn’s own Sarah J. Hale high school where she journeyed into Cosmetology, discerning novice creative talents on beauty techniques. Becoming incessantly competitive, Renee honed her skills by rigorously participating in talent and fashion shows nationwide. In 2002, Renee further materialized her burgeoning career and ventured into choreographing for the Police Athletic League (P.A.L), working with children ages 6-18yrs of age. In 2003, Renee also formed a dance group named “Settle Da Score”, which consisted of teenagers from all 5 boroughs. Settle Da Score was successful in securing a spot on “Amateur Night” at the Apollo Theater, a theatre specializing in music and the visual and performing arts, competed numerous times at the All-Stars Talent Show Network Competitions. In 2005, they also appeared on the very first episode of 106 & Park’s “Wild Out Wednesday.”


As years went by, Ms. Jade Renee quickly became a commercial success crossing paths and auditioning for famous entertainers such as: Trey Songz, Beyonce, Ashanti, Jojo Pellegrino, King Just, D.J. Ralph McDaniels, D.J. GrandMaster Kaz, choreographers Cicely and Olisa just to name a few.
