"Ana Siqueira is a make-up artist located in New York City. Born and raised in Brazil, Ana completely changed her career path from being a psychologist to pursue an unmatchably greater passion - make-up artistry. In fairness, these careers have their similarities: the fascination for people and their process of change and discovery through self-expression.

After graduating from University of Brasilia and starting her work as a clinical psychologist, Ana's brother made a very fortunate entrepreneurial step: opening a franchise of the world's most popular make-up brand, M.A.C cosmetics. This intense and sudden contact with this industry widely re-opened a door that was never actually closed, and so, Ana went to the most self-driven and pleasurable study path she ever started (and hopefully will never end). Self- teaching herself with make-up books and the internet, then studying at the SENAC school of make-up in Brazil made it possible for her to assert: make-up artistry was a passion so much greater then every other career she ever contemplated.

Shortly after that she moved to New York to study make up for Fashion/Print and Film/T.V. at one of the greatest make-up academies in the world - Make-up Designory (MUD).

As she expected, eagerly dedicating herself to study make-up full-time daily was a great delight. The precision and relentless search for the best results where always Ana's trademark, she found on make-up something that pulled this drive without being stressful at all - Ana's true vocation.

Having make-up and art as a tool, Ana can be a part of viewers personality dynamics by interacting with the clients and helping them to build, demolish and re-build their artistic vision according to their subjective drive and challenges. She believes that self-expression and self-discovery are the ones true ancestral means to keep human beings sane. Art is, therefore, the most "hard to explain" basic necessity.

Currently, Ana works as a freelance make-up artist, specializing in print and film. Her future goals include being represented and working with the music industry"
