NEWS: Well here I am in Myrtle Beach finally. Who knows good locations to shoot around here?

I enjoy creating images that capture the essence of the subject in an artistic way. My favorite photos are when they look like a still frame from a movie, either telling a story or implying that there was more to what you see before and after the moment the shutter was clicked. I prefer using natural or ambient light and, when I use my own lighting, I do my best to make it look real; and not like a studio shot. I can capture candid images but I especially enjoy collaborating with talented, enthusiastic models to create images. When it clicks the right way, it's like a bass player and drummer making a tight rhythm section.

8/22/2020: A lot of what I shoot isn't MM material so I don't update my port often. Today I put up some stuff I shot over the past few years to give my port a little boost. I need to give it a bigger boost so let's shoot!

I changed the name of my account because I think the old name was giving people the wrong impression of what I do. It was a musical term but it could sound kind of dark and scary I guess. Well I like shooting photos with a story so the new name comes from the old addage "A picture is worth a thousand words." Hopefully that'll be more representative of what I shoot. I wish the idea came to me sooner!
