Welcome to my online gallery. I'm a photographer with a passion for Black and White. Whether it's an RKO classic, an old Pathe Newsreel, or an old copy of 'LIFE', I've always been fascinated by the world seen in black and white and the window into the past it offers. My own photography frequently revolves around attempts to pull small pieces of those bygone techniques, styles and visions back into my contemporary portraiture.

For Photographers:

If you are enjoying my work and would like to learn more about the techniques involved, I do run several group workshops a year. You'll find these announced in the events section, or you can message me for more details. Group workshops are for up to four attendees per day at £400 per head.

I also offer one-2-one training at £880/day, including model and location (an old hall hidden away in leafy warwickshire). Just message me to discuss, whatever your experience level.

For Models:

It's rare I ask for or expect TFP. Either I have a project in mind and I will hire a model who fits what I have visualised, or otherwise I'd expect you to have a specific project or portfolio goal and to hire me. If neither of us has a reason to shoot... then we probably shouldn't be shooting! That said, I will sometimes cast call for an experiment or new idea, and if you're just starting out and building your first shots, then by all means message me. I'm a one trick pony, and I'm picky because time is precious, but I don't bite Wink
