*UPDATE: Since I am currently booked creating original corporate video and stills 6 days a week, I am now devoting my (limited) free time to shooting headshots, beauty, pinup work exclusively.

Hi, I'm Sean.

I began shooting animated movies when I was 13 and am a graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles.

Before moving to Minnesota, I worked in the Hollywood and Independent Film industries for 20 years, and have worked for every major motion picture studio and national TV network except Dreamworks SKG.

I performed camera & lighting tech work on major Hollywood blockbusters, tons of Primetime TV Dramas, children’s sitcoms, and music performances; and contributed creatively as a producer, cameraman, and lighting director on award-winning regional & national commercials, documentaries, and quirky Indie Films that have played Sundance, Cannes, and other festivals around the world. And… during the early lean years, I slaved away on more than my fair share of schlocky low-budget stinkers.

HOW PINUP SHOOTS WORK:

I provide the shooting location, props & set dressing for theme (if needed), professional retouching, and deliver your finished photos on print or CD. I can provide the themes/concepts for your photoshoot if necessary, or shoot your vision.

I can also provide a professional makeup & hair person for an additional cost. You must provide your own costume/wardrobe, but I do have sources for these so let me know if you need them.

Photoshoots can be performed at my studio in the historic Franklin Arts Center in downtown Brainerd, MN; or (weather permitting) outdoors on location.

PHOTOSHOOT CONCEPT/IDEAS:

My beauty/pinup style has been heavily influenced by the classic works of painter/iillustrators Alberto Vargas (1950s-60s), and Gil Elvgren (1940s-70s). I feel Vargas’ works expresses the beauty, glamour, and confident sexuality of the female form; while Elvgren’s work tends to be a bit more playful, innocent, and involving of clever themes.
