At Bellatrix, we specialize in creative, on-location, lifestyle photography. What exactly is that, you ask? Well, I can tell what what isn't - it's not typical, it's not boring, and it's not done in a studio. We strive to be "visionaries visualists" who enjoy thinking outside the box - or in this case, studio walls. We love working with the natural light of the sun and with the colours and textures of nature in intriguing urban locations that we come across around town, even in your own house! We believe that when it comes to lifestyle portraits, photographs become much more alive when real settings are used, as opposed to paper backdrops. Oh, we also love shooting happy people - mommies-to-be, cute tiny babies, fun families, couples in love. . . But to be honest, we're sort of "photography junkies". . . meaning, we love finding the beauty in anything & everything, even in, let's say, your creepy ceramic doll collection, if that's your thing! ;)
