“Photography is all about creativity, perception and art”, I have heard this statement numerous times since my initial interest in Photography but have never found myself to agree with it. What I have learned from my short career in Photography is that it is not merely an art but rather a science; a science of perfect action of capturing the moment in order to achieve your desired shot with the perfect balance of light, wind, distance, speed, angle, and most importantly; energy.

My name is Christopher Troché a 24 year old, born in Ridgewood, Queens, New York and raised in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York to a rich mix of culture from Hispanic and European parents. I have traveled, explored, and experienced New York City in its entirety: social and businesswise, so I do understand the fast paced environment, the bright lights, everyone’s ambition to make it to the top, the fashion, the energy and most of all the potential that everyone has to make it a “mixing pot” and capitol for the world to see.

I am currently residing in Connecticut for my collegiate studies, which has allowed me to expand my horizons, enlighten myself with rich education, philosophies and wisdom to mature as a man and embrace a more suburb environment to be all the more rounded as an individual. After extensive months of recovery from a near death experience, I found myself wanting to start applying my creative ideas to photography to document the beauty of life, whether it be for a positive or negative memory, because these events are what shape our character and allow us opportunity for growth. Napoleon Bonaparte once said, “there is one kind of robber whom the law does not strike at, and who steals what is most precious to men: time”.

What I can offer you is: youth, humility, dedication, passion, creativity, and a sense of urgency; they may not be detailed as to what this website requires or what you have seen on another photographer’s biography, but it is what makes c. t r o c h é Photography that much more captivating because I’m allowing us to grow together and fulfill both of our needs so that we can continue to be a catalyst for one another. I won’t call you my client or my customer because those leave just as fast as they come; but I will refer to you as my team member and my guest because we are collectively trying to reach an idea and goal. I look forward to much growth and success with you.
