Hi, my name is Jay, I am a self trained professional photographer. I am currently pursuing my masters degree in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Law. While in college, I picked up photography and have been shooting for just shy of three years. I am expanding my portfolio, where upon completion of my scholastic endeavors I may commit more of my time to photography as a business. As of now, I bill myself as a photographer with professional level skills searching for a genre I am most comfortable shooting. I primarily focus on animate objects. I do not like to shoot models who look posed. I like to maintain the natural essence to a shot while preserving the integrity of of emotion not only of the models but also of myself. My style is sharp and sleek and I am unconventional. I do not like to shoot with "rules" toward my craft as it relates to the nebulous of my frames. I feel the energy of a moment and shoot from the hip with precision.
