Hello all

I'm updating my profile page as a result of some 'creative changes' I'm in the middle of so at this time I will be shooting minimal photographic work in order to pursue areas of digital photo manipulation. I'll still take photographs for that purpose, but as far as shooting traditional/overplayed 'model style' fashion images, I'm done. I'm just no longer interested in the phony world of cosmetic body manipulation, and constantly changing rules of interpretation. The physical form whether it's attached to a female body, or male body makes little difference in the beauty it holds. The only true place it matters is in how these images are presented... and the meaning behind them.. not what some ad company, or magazine art director thinks.

I'd rather take a photo of an aspiring model, and blend them into a surreal environment where what is visible is far more intriguing to behold than yet another half naked female in yet another mindnumbingly boring sexual pose... or perhaps pushing some garment no normal woman would even wear. If it isn't that, it's an image of some genetic male superhuman whose abs are chiseled out of some material no normal male seems to possess. In other words... I'm bored as hell with this societies view of females, males and whats considered artistic, or even photographic where they're concerned when it comes to commercial outlets. If I'm going to do something that isn't real, I'd rather it be imagery that's actually surreal, and fantasical! I'm looking for something new... inspiring... intense! I want to create image compositions that make people go 'omg, you have wings?' when they look at certain images in your portfolio that we've worked to create, or 'Sooo when exactly did you fight a Dragon?'.

I'm willing to work with any model to create one, or two images along these lines, providing you want to add pictures like this to your portfolio. After that, if you want special shots created, or have ideas for an image I can create .. then we'll negotiate a fee. Right now.. I'm more interested in creating images with those who wish to work with me, and those who are looking for something new, or different when it comes to creative images in their portfolio. Someone whose interested in pushing the envelope as to images they are part of. Again... this will be limited to those who are ABSOLUTELY INTERESTED in this type of art/photographic work. To be blunt... I'm not just gonna spend hours creating an image for anyone who happens to want an image created. Sorry if that sounds rude, but these images are time consuming, and take a decent amount of work with the model to achieve, so I will limit my work to those who are serious, open minded, and most importantly... FUN to work with.

If you need images retouched, reworked, or manipulated I will be happy to talk to you about your needs, and see what we can do as far as cost, or compensation. I work very inexpensively when it comes to retouch work, and generally cleaning up an itherwise lack luster image.

If any photographer is interested in me doing custom work for them, or have clients they wish to introduce this type of imagery to, feel free to contact me. I am trying to find people to work with who wish to offer their clients more than they perhaps do alone. Bear in mind that I also do retouching work, and can work package deals with anyone interested in retouch work.

If anyone is interested in working with me on those genres, please let me know. MM Model Elmia, my love and muse will be present at all shoots, and may even be involved in some of the photographic work as well. We are no longer using the studio space we were, and are shooting either on location, or if given advance notice can usually secure a place to shoot. If you have a location you prefer, we are more than willing to adapt to it.
