My photography is mostly based out of traditional Fine Art with a BFA and MFA in photography, however I have worked alongside my personal and professional art career as a commercial photographer as well. My commercial work started as a studio product photographer and then also location and studio portrait photography. I have lived in and worked in New England, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and now San Diego. I am also a Photography Professor and also teach alongside my commercial pursuits. I believe in having a balanced career and enjoy working on portrait projects either for myself or for business clients. I have had images published in several magazines and catalogs and shown my work Internationally in Galleries from NY, Los Angeles etc.. Since I have focused more on my personal Landscape photography for so long I am now trying to extend my portrait work. My main interest is in location lifestyle photography, Pin Up, Musicians and Vintage style portraits, and anything that is creative and non traditional in style. That being said I am very interested in photographing niche cultures and the people involved (Rockabilly, Punk, Surf, and artists.). I am currently looking to continue to build my portrait portfolio with projects from the (50's - 60's) beach and vintage motorcycle culture. I am open to other creatives directors and their projects as well who are looking for a experienced photographer. I still prefer to shoot film when budgets allow including large formats of 4x5" and 11x14" view camera. I have over 17 years of photography experience all including everything from film processing, Darkroom printing, Digital printing to studio lighting. I am looking to build professional relationships with models , art directors and stylists for future projects and jobs.
