In 1973 I opened my first photo studio in the East Village of NYC, specializing in fashion.  I quickly started shooting for high fashion name clothing designers and catalogues.

In 1979 after shooting fashion in NY for 6 years and having two studios. I relocated to Los Angeles.  I segued into shooting architecture, aerials, real estate and landscapes, which was all a pleasant change of pace.  In 1986 I began shooting for Muscle & Fitness Magazine, Flex, M&F/Hers and Mens Fitness and became their main photographer at Muscle & Fitness until 2004.  Working closely with Joe Weider and his art departments shooting countless covers and layouts I learned a lot about physique and the Fitness industry.
During the course of fitness photography I then began to shoot healthy food and found I loved doing that as well.  My food work was quickly received and my portfolio grew in that area.

In 2004 I had the pleasure and opportunity to start shooting for Robert Kennedy’s Magazines Oxygen, Muscle Mag. Maximum Fitness, Reps and American Curves Curves.,The Box, Muscle & Performance Mag, Black Belt and Fitplan App

I formed in 1995 MagicLight Productions, Inc. ( http://www.magiclight.com ) which I am the CEO of.  We specialize in all aspects of production from conception to completion including a studio rental facility based in Marina del Rey, California In addition to my magazine work I do clothing catalogues, advertising, books, calendars, product packing, marketing and stock photography and continue to work in diverse fields. 
I am currently also head of Production for a workout app called Plankk.
