Throughout my life I've always had an interest in modeling. I pursued fashion design in college and I've always appreciated the artistic aspects of clothing, especially when worn by a beautiful model. Like fashion design, modeling is an expressive art form that tells a story through expression and movement. It is a skill that requires a person to convey a message and mood with no words at all. I've never had any modeling experience. However, I have a strong acting background as a result of years of participation in community theatre productions. One of my goals is to utilize my acting experience in modeling. I also wish to gain a deeper appreciation of the art of fashion and photography by exploring opportunities in hair/makeup, editorial, fashion, and glamour modeling. I am open to other genres of modeling as well. I want to utilize the Model Mayhem site to establish connections with a variety of professional photographers. In addition to the networking possibilities of the Model Mayhem site, I hope to further develop my style as a model by gaining inspiration from the work of others. I love all aspects of the fashion and modeling industry. As a clothing designer and aspiring model, I want to create the fashion and wear the fashion.
