Masha is a licensed hairstylist and makeup artist based in the Jersey Shore. Her work has been featured in Women’s Journal; Southern Asian Bride; and on the Style Network’s Glam Fairy.

I’m often asked by clients how to find the right foundation, or what is the perfect shade of lipstick for her undertone. But - luckily for us - beauty isn’t that black and white. The key to mastering the ultimate beauty regime is by mixing a blend of creativity, passion, skill, and experimentation!

I’ve worked with all types of beautiful women varying in complexion, age, skin type, and ethnicity. One thing I’ve learned for sure is that no two women’s needs are exactly the same. The best thing I can offer my clients is an educated, licensed background; personalized attention to her needs; and a dedication to providing the most enjoyable experience possible. Not only am I extremely passionate about what I do, but I am continuously inspired by my work.

From the day I began my career, I made it a point to foster relationships with everyone and build a reputation in the field. Prior to launching Hair and Makeup by Masha in 2014, I worked as a certified makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics. Having helped countless bridal parties and brides-to-be meticulously prepare for the big day, I became fascinated by the timeless and delicate beauty of bridal makeup. Over the years, I have developed a passion for helping brides achieve photo-ready, long lasting, breathtaking faces while providing a relaxed environment for the bride.

With a heritage rooted in the Indian culture, I was practically born into a world of robust color. Fueled by a strong work ethic, I’ve transformed a natural love of beauty into a career built around helping women look and feel their absolute best. This has been a remarkable journey, one that includes studying under celebrity hair stylist Beth Minardi and What Not To Wear’s Nick Arrojo; teaching at the Robert Fiance Makeup Academy; and studying with Aquaga, Youngbloodz, and TiGi. I’ve also had the opportunity to work as a stylist for some truly innovative salons including the Cathryn David Salon and JChristian Studio.

With fresh perspective and extensive expertise on my palette, I look forward to making dramatic transformations that bring out the best beauty in you.
