Hi. I’m Ashbea Day, a photographer in the Greater Atlanta area. I first recognized my passion for creating art at a very young age. As the oldest of three boys, I grew up in an environment that taught me to take care of and to love people. About six years after graduating High School, I was honorably discharged from the US Military, before beginning a career as a firefighter/EMT. Armed with the desire to establish my own company, I decided to express my creative insight through the fine art of photographic imaging. My artistic style has been transformed into From Ash To Art LLC, a photography business based near the Greater Atlanta area.

I’m currently attending a private college to sharpen my creative use of light, perspective, and post processing photos. I have worked on numerous photography projects as a solo artist and in conjunction with other artists. Some of those projects include: Weddings, individual & group photo shoots, runway photography, celebrity events, model portfolios, performance artists, sporting events, and turning concepts into photos for business and individuals. High fashion photography and wedding photography are two of my favorite things to photograph because I enjoy creating photos that make you feel something inspiring.

I think my biggest influence has to be my love for art and creativity. Art is always a part of me. I’m kind of a perfectionist, but I really appreciate spontaneity. Sometimes those two things combine to make something that’s spontaneously-perfect.
