Like so many other photographers, I started taking pictures of landscape while traveling. At the same time I noticed I made better portraits of people (strangers) I met while on the road. When it come to other animated object, be it a snow monkey by the hot spring, a couple of cranes in flight or the great horned owl staring, I did my best to capture the essence of the spirit. Even though esthetic results may vary, I usually enjoy the experience of such encounter. And that's with wildlife.

With models, I would say the esthetic variable is under control. Working with professional MUA, models show off their best under the carefully set up lighting.
As we let our creativity flow, I see myself shooting better than I did yesterday.
