Welcome to my page,

I will only be in the Mid-West Until late October so book with me now if you want to shoot.


My Name Is Valerie (a.k.a Calypso) And I'm a Freelance Photographer, Owner of Grimsly Photography.
I began as a hobbyist when I was 13 and When I got to high school I took an ROP class in photography and got my certificates in Digital & Film Photography. Now I work as a Model and full time Photographer.

I am looking to meet people who are friendly, energetic and have a passion for what they are doing. I try to do my best to have a MUA and hair Stylist at every shoot, and have been working on getting designers involved.
But I do have some wardrobe depending on the type of shoot.

Unfortunately, I am unable to travel without my travel expenses being paid so all shoots will be here in Battle creek, on Location.

I Do TF, Please don't be a afraid to ask :)

All photos will be edited and sent out to all parties involved within 2 weeks of the shoot date. I tend to be excited about editing so it's likely you will receive the images sooner. NO images are released unedited and I do ask that the finished product not be touched.

*A Model Release form must be signed before we begin the shoot.

*Minor's please a parent or guardian with you.

:) Escort's are Welcome, please limit this to 1 person. I don't care who you bring as long as they behave themselves and are not a distraction while we are shooting.

I do have someone who goes with me to every shoot and you should too.

Unfortunately,
Right now I am super broke and do have all the fancy equipment that I wish I had. I'm working with a little Canon that isn't very expensive but please don't let the camera fool you.
Photographers take great photo's, not the camera's. I have seen lots of $8,000 Camera take very bad photos. With my editing skills and my eye for photography I have been able to pull out some very amazing and beautiful images.
