I'm passionate about creating compelling images that capture beauty, preserve a moment, and tell a story. My love for photography began at a young age, smelling darkroom chemicals and watching my father magically turn white paper into beautiful images. After studying Design at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, I set off to explore the Deep South. Stops in Louisiana and Texas brought success in a business management career, but my Dad’s death in 2009 reaffirmed my need for creative fulfillment. I relocated to the Midwest and began studying at the Chicago Photography Center (CPC). What began as occasional workshops and volunteer work led to a career and life change. The transformation I experienced in CPC’s Certificate Program made my “rebirth” possible; I quit my proverbial day job and launched rebirth photo, inc., offering a full range of photographic services. Today I can be found at my studio in Ravenswood, or taking photographs of all sorts around Chicago and beyond.
