I am an experienced Life Model of 8 years and have been Pinup Modeling since Sept 2012. I am always looking to add new and exciting styles to my portfolio. I am very passionate about the Pinup and Rockabilly lifestyle as well as promoting products involved with the scene. I am a Theatre Arts graduate and have experience in the performing arts world; ie: stage, improv, minor film, hair, makeup etc. I am very creative as far as my artistic presentation. With my history in theatre I have developed quite a versatile look and personality that really comes through in my photos. My pinup photos have been published internationally, and I have been recognized for my style with the title of Miss Pinupalooza 2014, Miss Pinup America 2014, and best hair at PinnedUp Miami 2014.

On multiple occasions, I have been asked: What got you into/or made you want to do Pin Up modeling?

I kind of just fell into pin up modeling really. I was inspired by it. I had been figure modeling for about 5 years and had never done modeling for photography. I took a Stage Makeup Class over the summer with a few friends of mine, and one of them always suggested that I try 50's/ 60s vintage vogue and pin up for our make up projects. I just found myself there. It seemed to fit and it felt beautiful. As I did more research, I fell in love Vargas' paintings. The girls were beautiful and classy. They had sex appeal without being overtly sexual. Another thing that really inspired me was the happiness and expression in so many of the paintings and pictures. Happiness and laughter were present in so many of them and at the same time it exhibited sexy and beautiful. Modern modeling has a lot of serious looks, which is appropriate in a lot of my work, but I so much more enjoy to shine the light of my personality with the laughter, smile and silliness thought pin up.

After graduating with my Theatre Arts degree, I wasn't really sure what to do with it. I work so many hours and late evenings at my hospital job I couldn't find the time for evening auditions and rehearsals. Modeling was more compliant with my schedule AND allowed me a catharsis for my artistic expression. Ever since I was little my parents told me that I loved the camera. According to my grandparents, the first day I was born they new which baby I was in the nursery because I was making really expressive faces like my father.

When I started networking with people that also appreciate the rockabilly/pin up scene, I felt so welcomed. It seems as though everyone that I collaborate with is so loving and supportive. This is extremely important to me because it coincides with my life affirmation of "I am a magnet for loving supportive relationships because that it a reflection of me".

Last of all, one thing I have learned in life is that when Inspiration calls you, don't question it. When doors are open and green lights signal the way, follow it. Pin up is my Inspiration ♥
