JONATHAN AMAR is an award winning Westchester based artist, designer, photographer, filmmaker and musician. He is currently pursuing a degree in Film and Television Production at SUNY Westchester Community College. In 2009 Jonathan was given the opportunity to do camera work for the award winning CBS show Ghost Whisperer alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt. He won his first award in 2007 from the Journal News for a political cartoon which appeared in his high school newspaper. In February 2012 Michael C. Williams (of The Blair Witch Project fame) handed Jonathan his most recent award for “Best Creative Non-Fiction Film” in the Viking Film Festival. In addition, Jonathan is a multi-instrumentalist and has been playing guitar, drums and bass guitar for about 5 years. Jonathan recently underwent surgery to have the rule of thirds imprinted onto his eyeballs. He is always looking for work to add to his résumé and portfolio.
