Why you decided to change your body! :

I had been kind of a nerd. I would read my comics every day, play computer games and watch YouTube videos for hours. At the same time, my friends, who played computer games like me, where bigger and stronger than me. I was also an athlete. I played basket ball and trained MMA. But in order to succeed in sports you have to be in amazing shape and strength.

Whenever I would see a jacked dude walk by and all the girls would just be staring, that's what I wanted to be. I was tired of being one of the smallest kids and wanted the satisfaction that comes from successful weight training. I wanted to have something that was different than others.

When I started secondary school, no one ever even mentioned the sport of bodybuilding. You will not find it in most secondary schools or high schools. I have always been somewhat different than other kids, just because I know what I like and what I don't like.

When I started, I bought posters of bodybuilders for my room so I could look at them while I did my novice workouts. Back than I had no idea what I was doing, all I knew was that I want to be bigger and stronger.

What got you started? :

For the first three months of my transformation, I stopped lifting weights completely. I was running for one hour every night, and doing 10 sets of pushups, pull-ups and leg raises 4-5 times a week. My diet was very strict - low fat, with a max of 2000 calories a day.

Although this diet was difficult to follow, it did work for me. The pounds were shedding off like nothing, at a rate of about 1 pound per day. During these three months, I would allow myself one cheat meal a week, consisting of whatever it was I was craving that day.

Once November came around, I had got thin enough that I decided it was time to start building up. I started a typical beginner's bodybuilding regimen, working each body part once a week with about 4 exercises. I also brought my diet up to 3000 calories per day, and stopped worrying so much about fat.

I was counting every calorie, and only natural fats; meats, oats, nuts etc. After Thanksgiving, I noticed I was not making significant gains. I was on bodybuilding.com constantly, reading articles, workout regimens and posting threads in order to learn everything I needed to know about gaining size. I could not have done it without it.

So I started eating more without counting calories(all very clean foods), and began working each muscle group twice per week. This been working great for me, and the muscle just keeps

Why Do You Love Bodybuilding? :

I built my body to build my confidence. I have always been an ectomorph. I wanted to feel like I could take care of myself and the ones I love.. I like to push my bodies limits and see what I can accomplish. The human body is more fascinating and beautiful than any machine that has been or ever will be invented... + reflections in the mirror of myself bodybuilding is a lifestyle (l)
